Truffle

Truffle delights

Truffles belong to the category of hypogeal fungi (they develop underground). The formation and growth of this precious fruit of the land requires a combination of specific climatic conditions, as well as specific land and vegetation features. Umbria is actually one large truffle reserve, with its soft hills where the forest is predominant. You can find a large variety of contrasting types of truffles in this region: the tasty black truffle, the unmistakable sharp scent of the aristocratic white truffle, the curious fragrance of the summer Scorzone truffle, and a series of “half-season” truffles. Our Truffle products were created with the knowledge of the availability of this unique delicious ingredient, which is well loved all over the world, and its special fragrance is used to enhance many other products from our vegetable garden, creating incredible “combinations” for your table.
